וַיַּעֲמֵ֣ד כְּמִשְׁפַּ֣ט דָּֽוִיד־אָ֠בִיו אֶת־מַחְלְק֨וֹת הַכֹּהֲנִ֜ים עַל־עֲבֹדָתָ֗ם וְהַלְוִיִּ֣ם עַל־מִ֠שְׁמְרוֹתָם לְהַלֵּ֨ל וּלְשָׁרֵ֜ת נֶ֤גֶד הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ לִדְבַר־י֣וֹם בְּיוֹמ֔וֹ וְהַשּׁוֹעֲרִ֥ים בְּמַחְלְקוֹתָ֖ם לְשַׁ֣עַר וָשָׁ֑עַר כִּ֣י כֵ֔ן מִצְוַ֖ת דָּוִ֥יד אִישׁ־הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃
At itinalaga niya, ayon sa alituntunin ni David na kanyang ama, ang mga pangkat ng mga kohen sa kanilang paglilingkod, at ang mga Levita sa kanilang mga tungkulin, upang magpuri at maglingkod sa harap ng mga kohen ayon sa kinakailangan sa bawat araw; at ang mga bantay-pinto ayon sa kanilang mga pangkat sa bawat pintuan, sapagkat gayon ang iniutos ni David, ang tao ng Diyos.
